Duquesne Law Review
Abstract
This article reviews sentencing practices in Pennsylvania and the development of Sentencing Guidelines. It explores the emergence of appellate review of sentencing and how that has been affected by the interpretation of the Guideline legislation. It suggests changes to present practice that would permit and structure appellate review of sentencing.
