Constitutional law is to the legal community what economics is to liberal arts: the queen mother of all other studies. But, then again, is it? Have we been reverent for too long? Isn't there a need to reduce constitutional law to a summary that offers the appropriate level of disrespect for everything from sua sponte to justiciability?
