Abstract
The article begins by examining the sources of equal protection law in both federal and the state constitutions cited by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Next the author sets out a decade by decade examination of leading cases in the area of equal protection under the Pennsylvania Constitution. Finally, the author considers the current state of equal protection analysis under the Pennsylvania Constitution.
