Duquesne Law Review
Abstract
The Supreme Court of the United States held that 28 U.S.C. § 1367 grants the federal court supplemental jurisdiction over claims in class action suits that do not meet the amount in controversy requirement, provided that jurisdiction is based on diversity of citizenship and there are no other jurisdictional deficiencies.
Exxon Mobil Corporation v. Allapattah Services, Inc., 125 S. Ct. 2611 (2005).
