A Celebration of the Robert Taylor/Bruce Ledewitz Book Collection
Bruce Ledewitz and Robert Taylor
Celebration of the Robert Taylor/Bruce Ledewitz Book Collection, Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at noon in the Multicultural McGinnis Lab, Room 118, Duquesne Kline Law Library
Professors Ledewitz and Taylor gifted the Law Library the hundreds of books they read line-by-line together or referenced in their collaboration which started 45 years ago. Each book has a book plate which states how the two professors used it to inform their teaching, scholarship, and being. That information is also included in the local notes field in the cataloging record for each book.
The Celebration marks the cataloguing of the books which constituted their Judaica Collection. The next step is to catalog the books of their Philosophy and Theology Collection.
Presents: Dean April M. Barton, Dean Emeritus, Nick Cafardi; Associate Deans - Ann Schiavone and Tara Willke, and Dean of Career Services Maria Comas; Professors - Richard Heppner, Maryann Herman, Ashley London, Eugene Mazo, Brian Miller, David Nows, and John Rago; Emeritus Professor Mark Yochum, Distinguished Alumni - Hon. Michael McCarthy; Duquesne Law School Students; Librarians - Amy Lovell, Katie Lynch, and Dana Neacsu; Administrative Colleagues - Corinne Burns and Barbara Wetzel; and Friends of the Law School.
