The Duquesne University Oral History Initiative (OHI) creates, collects, and preserves oral histories by recording the lived experiences of people in the Duquesne and regional community. It enhances the historical record by documenting stories that may not be available in traditional sources. The OHI promotes interdisciplinary scholarship and authentic relationships by sharing oral history outcomes, participating in academic symposiums, providing education and training workshops, and offering graduate internships.
